Organic cotton and playful children's prints
Toby Tiger's seasonal clothes make sense for families who would rather add a recognisable print to an ordinary outfit than assemble a complete costume. The official range includes Christmas nightwear and Halloween tops and dresses. That offers a useful middle ground: a garment can mark the occasion while still working with trousers, leggings or a cardigan already in the wardrobe. Repeated wear is a possibility to consider, not something the print can guarantee.
Our checked examples include the Organic Christmas Dog Pyjamas at £29.99 and the Organic Pumpkin Print Long-Sleeved Skater Dress at £35.99. The pyjamas make the seasonal connection explicit. The dress can be read as autumn clothing as well as Halloween clothing, depending on the child's taste. That difference matters if you dislike storing garments that only come out for a single date.
The brand's description of selected products includes GOTS-certified organic cotton. We record that as a merchant specification rather than treating it as proof of how a garment will feel to a particular child. A familiar fabric is useful information, but seams, appliqué and fit can matter just as much in daily use. Check each product's details instead of assuming every item shares an identical composition or fastening.
Before you choose
For a clothing gift, ask for the child's current height and compare it with the chosen item's size options. Age labels are a starting point, not a measurement of the child. The checked pyjama page offered sizes spanning 12–18 months to 5–6 years; the pumpkin dress went up to 7–8 years. Those are listed options, not a statement that every size can currently be ordered. Do not substitute a size simply because it is the one left.
A seasonal top earns its price through actual use. Ask whether the child would wear a ghost or cat design in November, then check that the colour works with clothing already owned. A favourite motif can be a better guide than how festive the product photograph looks. For a dress, think about the activity: floor play and an outdoor walk may call for different layering from a family lunch.
Care should be part of the buying decision. The checked dog pyjamas and selected Halloween tops specify a 30-degree machine wash. Read the label on arrival, particularly for any detachable detail. We have not carried out wash tests or independently verified durability, skin suitability or environmental performance. Organic-cotton information should not be stretched into a health claim or a promise that a garment will outlast another brand.
